Low-risk by design. You stay in control.
Three steps. You decide when StrideVoice picks up. Most contractors start with after-hours only, then expand as trust builds.
Tell StrideVoice about your business
Fill out a preference template — service area, pricing guidance, emergency protocol, and FAQs your customers actually ask. Upload it once, and your receptionist knows your business the way a longtime office manager would.
Forward your calls + flip the toggle
Keep your number. Keep your carrier. Forwarding takes about 60 seconds — on Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile, we walk you through the exact dial code. Then turn StrideVoice on only when you want: after hours, weekends, or on the job. You answer the rest.
StrideVoice answers — you get a text summary
Every call StrideVoice handles turns into a text on your phone: who called, what they needed, what was booked or escalated. No voicemails to return. No cold leads lost. No bad handoffs.
What your receptionist handles.
Pre-loaded with electrical-specific call flows, terminology, and triage logic — so you don't train it from scratch.
Emergencies get instant attention.
StrideVoice flags emergencies and alerts you immediately with a priority call transfer or SMS — even when the toggle is off for routine calls.
Electrical questions, answered.
Will it know the difference between a panel-upgrade quote and an emergency hazard?
Yes. The first qualifier is always “what's going on?” — sparking, a burning smell, lost power, a breaker that won't reset, or a planned project like a panel upgrade or EV charger. From there it captures the panel type and age, whether power is out, and when it started before classifying. A “quote my EV charger install” call goes routine; a “my outlet is sparking” call goes urgent.
What happens when a caller reports a sparking outlet or a burning smell?
It's flagged as an emergency immediately. The receptionist gives safety-first guidance — stop using the outlet, switch off that breaker if it's safe to reach, and don't touch anything hot or smoking — then notifies your on-call electrician and tells the caller help is on the way, not “we'll get back to you Monday.”
What does it say when a caller asks for a price?
It quotes Phoenix-market ranges — outlet replacement $200–$350, whole-home surge protector $450–$850, an EV charger install $700–$2,500, a 100A-to-200A service upgrade $3,500–$7,500+ — then says a licensed electrician confirms the scope on-site. It never gives a hard quote over the phone, because panel capacity, run distance, and 2023 NEC requirements move the real number.
What if there's an electrical fire or someone got shocked?
Life-safety calls go to 911 first, not to you. The receptionist tells the caller to get clear, call 911, and cut power at the main only if it's safe — then logs the contractor follow-up for after the immediate danger is handled. You can't rewire what the fire department hasn't cleared yet.
Does it handle Spanish-speaking callers?
Yes. The Spanish receptionist is included — same hazard triage, same booking flow, same emergency escalation. Available 24/7 just like the English line.

Built so your customers stay yours.
Most AI answering services bury what they do. StrideVoice puts disclosure, the way out, and how we handle data up front. Here's the whole stack.
Always identified as AI
StrideVoice tells every caller it's an AI assistant in the first sentence. No tricks, no spoofing your voice, no pretending to be a human.
Recording disclosed up front
Calls are recorded so you can listen back. Callers are told before the conversation starts, every time, in the language they're speaking.
Always a way out
Any caller can ask for a human. StrideVoice texts you immediately and offers the caller an alternate number or callback window — your choice.
Card numbers automatically scrubbed
Credit card numbers, CVVs, and SSNs are automatically removed from every transcript before storage. Callers needing to pay are routed to a secure Stripe link, not the agent.
Privacy-first by default. We don't sell data, ever. Full DPA available before signup.
