Low-risk by design. You stay in control.

Three steps. You decide when StrideVoice picks up. Most contractors start with after-hours only, then expand as trust builds.

01

Tell StrideVoice about your business

Fill out a preference template — service area, pricing guidance, emergency protocol, and FAQs your customers actually ask. Upload it once, and your receptionist knows your business the way a longtime office manager would.

Forward your calls + flip the toggle

Keep your number. Keep your carrier. Forwarding takes about 60 seconds — on Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile, we walk you through the exact dial code. Then turn StrideVoice on only when you want: after hours, weekends, or on the job. You answer the rest.

Real call moments

What a typical Plumbing call looks like.

Pulled from the same triage logic your receptionist runs on every call — built from Plumbing call patterns, not invented.

Active flooding from washer supply line, water pooling in laundry room

flagged as emergency, walked caller to the main shutoff while dispatch rolled, on-call line engaged

Toilet won't flush — only bathroom in the home

qualified as urgent, captured slab vs. raised foundation context, scheduled within 24 hours

Water heater leaking, no hot water since this morning

qualified as urgent same-day, age + tank size captured, replacement quote queued for the tech

Emergency Detection

Emergencies get instant attention.

StrideVoice flags emergencies and alerts you immediately with a priority call transfer or SMS — even when the toggle is off for routine calls.

Active flooding or burst pipe
Sewage backup in living areas
Gas smell near water heater or gas line
No running water in entire house
Water main break
Slab leak with visible water or foundation damage
Frequently asked

Plumbing questions, answered.

Will it correctly triage a slow drip vs. an active leak?

Yes. The first qualifier on every plumbing call is “is there active water anywhere right now?” Active water = emergency dispatch. A drip under a sink that’s controlled but not stopping = urgent within 24–48 hours. Slow drain getting worse = urgent. The classifier doesn’t guess — it asks.

Can it walk a panicked caller to the main water shutoff?

Yes. For any active-water emergency, the receptionist asks where the main shutoff is and walks the caller through closing it while dispatch is in motion. That single step often cuts a $20K water-damage claim down to a service call.

What does it quote when someone asks about water heater replacement?

It gives Phoenix-market ranges: $900–$1,500 for a 40-gallon gas tank, $1,100–$1,800 for a 50-gallon, $2,500–$4,500 for tankless. It explains the tank-vs-tankless trade-off — upfront cost vs. lifespan and energy savings — and tells the caller the tech confirms the final number on-site.

Does it know the difference between a slab leak and a leak under a sink?

Yes. Slab-leak qualifiers (warm spot on the floor, unusually high water bill, meter spinning when all fixtures are off) are part of the routine flow. Suspected slab leak gets routed to an electronic-detection visit ($300–$600 range) before any repair quote — because you can’t price a repair you haven’t found yet.

Does it handle Spanish-speaking callers?

Yes. The Spanish receptionist is included — same triage logic, same booking flow, same emergency escalation. Available 24/7 just like the English line.

10,000 gallons

of water the average American household wastes through leaks every year — and the longer a slow drip waits for a callback, the bigger the repair becomes.

Built so your customers stay yours.

Most AI answering services bury what they do. StrideVoice puts disclosure, the way out, and how we handle data up front. Here's the whole stack.

Always identified as AI

StrideVoice tells every caller it's an AI assistant in the first sentence. No tricks, no spoofing your voice, no pretending to be a human.

Recording disclosed up front

Calls are recorded so you can listen back. Callers are told before the conversation starts, every time, in the language they're speaking.

Always a way out

Any caller can ask for a human. StrideVoice texts you immediately and offers the caller an alternate number or callback window — your choice.

Card numbers automatically scrubbed

Credit card numbers, CVVs, and SSNs are automatically removed from every transcript before storage. Callers needing to pay are routed to a secure Stripe link, not the agent.

Privacy-first by default. We don't sell data, ever. Full DPA available before signup.

You answer when you can.

We catch the rest.
